Assistant Sales Manager – Uganda

Role Summary

To act as the first point of contact with a new potential client and responsible for driving business growth within the assigned sector of business in the organization.
To create and maintain a favorable public image for the organization that leads to new business development.


Key Responsibilities

·       To generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by calling, on-site visits and community networking.
·       To Identify potential new business leads by, but not limited to, examining local market trends, and competitor’s activities, old client databases, direct mails, visiting corporates, Govt & non-government institutions.
·       To establish and grow Group’s market share by developing and maintaining relationships with corporate, government and private sector clients.
·       To support the GGM in preparing the sales budget as well as the Group’s overall sales goals and strategy.
·       To achieve set Revenue Targets new and existing business as agreed and set out in the Sales Activity Plan.


Qualifications / Experience:

·       Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ Hotel Management with specialization in Sales & Marketing and PR.
·       7-8 years of previous experience in a similar role preferably in hospitality and or real estate sector.
·       A proven track record of successful PR campaigns.
