NETWORK PROJECT MANAGEMENT II – Work from home position

Responsible for CENTER ENGINEERING and VENDOR MANAGEMENT for build initiatives across networks.
Utilize carrier’s systems and SAP to document all technical solutions.
Develop project plans, timelines, and schedules.
Drive and manage vendor and outsource teams to meet construction timelines.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES –
·       Project-specific installation instructions, engineering database updates, equipment configurations, card/port assignments/requirements, power mapping, cable running lists, floor space and rack placement, and detailed Bill of Material (BOM).
·       Create required Shopping carts to drive purchase of required equipment and services.
·       Manage multiple Capacity Creation Requests for new hardware deployments, reconfigurations, decommissions, and First Office Application (FOA) projects.
·       Manage overall project schedules for Engineering activities, Construction start and completion dates.
·       Identify, monitor, report, escalate, and resolve technical issues.
·       Maintain excellent communication with Project Manager, Functional Team Members and Direct Management.
·       Interface with Implementation organizations in performing site surveys to obtain critical site-specific pre-engineering data prior to the build, post installation redlines, and end of job audits.
·       Manage completion of project milestones with all appropriate stakeholders, to include third party turf vendors.
·       Facilitate and maintain relationships with multiple service vendors, including pricing compliance, standards creation and compliance, and conducting quality reviews to include follow up remediation as appropriate and periodic performance reviews.

MUST HAVE SKILLS –
·       5+ years in driving cross-functional projects, vendor management, and outsource teams.
·       Experience leading multiple complex projects to successful completion.
·       PMP Certification is a plus.
·       Engineering experience required.
·       Strong project planning and time management, interpersonal and team building capabilities, and excellent problem-solving skills.
·       Excellent verbal, written, analytical and communication skills.
·       Influence organizational direction and initiatives across all leadership levels.
·       Experience with SRM/SAP as well as expense and/or capital budgets.
·       Expert knowledge and proven experience with the full suite of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project, and the Clarity Software Application suite.
·       Competency in Telecom technologies, networks, and business processes.
