Job Opportunity: Logistics Assistant
Looking for a skilled *Logistics Assistant* to join our team. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
Requirements and skills:
Minimum of 1-3 years of UAE experience in similar role.
Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Preparing Shipping Instructions and filing them to the Shipping line / Freight Forwarder.
• Sending the loading information to the Customer.
• Follow-up for Bill of Lading with Freight Forwarder.
• Follow-up for Bill of Lading confirmation with the Customer.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, and other relevant paperwork.
• Maintain Tracking data of shipments from the point of departure to the final destination, ensuring timely delivery.
• Perform data entry and consistently update the shipment status in the logistics management database.
• Support the preparation of monthly reports on shipment activities, including the status of ongoing and completed shipments.
• Address and resolve issues related to transit delays by liaising with freight forwarders and other relevant parties.
• Provide general administrative support to the logistics department including maintaining records, processing requests, and assisting with day-to-day operations.
• Provide support for other departments as needed by assisting with various tasks.
• Flexibility to take on ad-hoc responsibilities to maintain overall efficiency within the team.
